Third time lucky.......

I have been having a few problems with my computer and I am in the process of fixing it! I have also been incredibly busy with my business and kiddies! Aden had his Year 12 graduation last week and we were so proud to see him receive a medal and award for outstanding achievement in Furnishing.  What started out as light relief and a break from the Chem/Physics/Maths he discovered he has quite a talent and love of creating from scratch! (wonder where he gets that from!?)  I have a feeling this will be a life long hobby.  I will share some photos when his cabinet comes home.  We are so very unbelievably proud of him! I really admire the determination, focus and attitude he has shown over the past 2 years and regardless of whatever mark/score he receives, I know he will always be a success in life.

I am actually really happy with this one! My copic use is getting sooooo much better! lol  My friend, Sue keeps telling me practice makes perfect! and she is right!

Go an have a look at what the talented DT have come up with HERE

Exams are all over the shop here! so far so good (but I haven't got reports yet!) Lachlan text me after his English exam yesterday and said.....WOW! Reading the book really helped!
I couldn't help but laugh! duh! Scary thing is that he is year 9 oh well better late than never! and also...what the heck has he been doing before this.....?

Where has this year gone?!!!!!!

A my son, Aden has just finished his VCE exams, I can't help but shake my head and wonder where the HECK did this year go! I have concluded that I must be OLD now as when I was younger, the years dragged by! lol  2 kids down (through secondary school) and two to go! we are half way there and I have come through relatively unscathed ( It IS all about me don't you know!!!) Christie has finished her second year of uni, she is working three jobs now to support her EBAY clothes addiction! Lachlan & Patrick are doing their best to master COD (PS3 game) and my Mark is really settling in to semi retirement!

On the scrapping front, I have been a busy little bee...... The Pink Elephant have a gorgeous COLOUR challenge this week....RED, BLUE & YELLOW  I completed my LO and realized I didn't have any Yellow!! so I threw in some little punched hearts voila! Little Christie in the bath and dad going a little overboard with the bubbles! (on purpose I suspect!)

anyway, have a look what the team have produced and join in!

WOO HOO it is all happening at

Frosted Designs! there is a new DT with new weekly challenges, a sketch DT and weekly projects and tutorials. Along with that there are great prizes each week just by joining in!

This week's challenge is using a LARGE photo.  You know the ones you get from school, footy, ballet and the family ones that just don't make it into a frame......  I must admit, I never scrap the profesional ones. ( I do, however, scan, reduce and make mini books shhhh.)
Anyway, remember my trip to Queensland? When we arrived, our apartment wasn't ready so we went for a coffee and the boys bought a soccer ball (they were having withdrawals from basketball & footy I think) and we headed off to the beach.  I got some great shots of both the boys and this particular one of Paddy I just love! I remember thinking of the title below when I checked my camera!
if you join in this week, you could win a fabulous prize generously donated by Purple Pumpkin Crafts some groovy looking buttons and handmade embellishments AND she is an Aussie!

Ok stay tuned I do have heaps to show over the next couple of weeks! as of today there is 49 days left till Christmas.........
