Muse #233

hmmmm 14 week until Christmas.............. I have one friend that is really good with Christmas cards. She makes them and they are stunning, creative and colourful.  I make one card a year now (blush) and she is the recipient of that card!!!  BUT this year I plan to make a few cards ( yeah yeah I know I am full of talk)
The first card of the season is using the Stampin' Up Merriest Tag Framelits and SU Merriest Wishes stamps. What a cute set this is I love it.  I have also found an old MFT Christmas stamp set during a cleanup and thought it worked perfectly with the bauble.  I am joining in with the Muse challenge this week, love Tracey's CAS card getting me started on the road to being organised!

stamps: SU Merriest Wishes, MFT Seasonal Sentiments

Here is my take on the challenge.

Almost like putting a jigsaw puzzle together!  I die cut all my shapes and then pieced them together in the pattern I wanted.  A tip though, make sure your first shape is square with your base and it will all fall in to place.

anyway head on over to Ann's beautiful blog and I look forward to seeing your inspired contributions for this challenge ♥

SnapChat Love

Hi there,

I have been having a little play with Color Burst powders and I am loving the results.  My first instinct was to be quite liberal throwing the colours around BUT you only need the most minute sprinkle. It activates with water and produces the most magnificent colours!!! I have used a Gesso medium over my cardstock and this creates a barrier so the yardstick doesn't absorb all the colour.  I made it made my LO far more vibrant. My youngest son and I were playing around with snapchat and the filters they have on there, it was a lot of fun.  You can get the instructions and products used for this LO over at Scrapbook Boutique
