Happy Birthday

Hello everyone! :)
Just a quick pop in with a card using my delicious embossing powders!!  I love watching the powders melt on the paper.  Embossing can be difficult if you hold the heat gun too close to the paper it can burn and warp the paper.  My trick is to let the heat gun warm up for a minute or so and then alternate the heat on the back of the paper and front evenly.  Works for me.  Head on over to Scrapbook Boutique for the details and products used for this card!! Thanks for popping in ♥

Here is my take on the challenge.

I had fun playing with the masking paper.  Goodness me though, trying to get the mask nice and flat was a bit of a trial though, I got it in the end.  I do really like blending and mixing the colours.  After it was finished, I thought it was too clean so I used my stencil and glitter paste over the top, I love the effect.  I did make another card with the star mask, I'll show that when I've finished.

anyway head on over to Ann's beautiful blog and I look forward to seeing your inspired contributions for this challenge ♥

Sending you X and O's

Hello everyone!  I am back from my cruise and I had a fabulous time.  Unfortunately, I did get sick with a virus and still fighting it now!  Still, I enjoyed it, not cooking for two weeks is my type of holiday!
I have a little card to share today using the 7 dots studio clear stamps and my favourite MFT stamps too. Scrapbook Boutique will have all the details to reproduce this card and products to purchase too.

Congratulations!

I'm still on holidays and LOVING IT!!  Although there is always a little time to get in the craftroom...!!!  I am a big fan of the inlaid technique and today's card is a classic example that your card doesn't have to be too bulky with layers when using your dies.  What I love about this card is that you can make a few at a time with the "left over bits" just mix and match and set the sentiment to match your occasion.. (I am all about quick and easy have you noticed!!!)
Head on over to Scrapbook Boutique to buy the FABULOUS MFT square stitched dies ♥♥♥ and a run down on the how to as well!!  Hope it is warm where you are!!
