Hello there! I told you I just love the Studio Calico range didn't I.......?  I finally treated myself to the MFT letters as I couldn't keep borrowing Sue's set.....Will have to start saving for the capitals and then the numbers hehehehe.
My LO today inspired by Christie's new glasses.  Suffering from constant headaches (computer overuse I say) I suggested she get her eyes tested and we found out she does need them.  Quite often, her work require her to look "nerdy" and she has a fake pair (no glass) and a tie and braces to complete the ensemble. When it came time to actually choose the frames, she choose the nerdy frames!!  Buddy Holly Glasses her father calls them.  Anyway, I like the look.  Go to Scrapbook Boutique to see instructions on how to replicate this LO.
thanks for popping in :)

I have LOTS and LOTS of 12 x 12 packs and hate that I don't really utilise the sticker sheets!!!! I challenged myself to make a few cards with ONLY what was left on the sticker sheets. A great way to bulk up your stash!!  I always make a quick card after I finish a LO and before I pack up ( well most times.....).
My MOST FAVOURITE embossing folder would have to be Diamonds in the Rough by Cuttlebug.  I have used it so many times, see here and here I just love the randomness of the diamonds!

Check out Scrapbook Boutique for details on how to make this card.
I've decided to join a few challenges that criteria fit this card!!
Chocolate, Coffee and Card Challenge - Emboss it
Blogger challenge - Add Texture
Hiding in my craft room #58 - Super Scraps

Here is my take on the challenge.....

I decided I would try a card this month.  I very rarely scrap with pale colours and I had difficulty going out of my comfort zone......
Once again, I have used my MTF (my favourite things) and the butterfly Die was just perfect. Once I embossed them they looked adorable finished off with some bling.
I have used my Nestabilities circles (small and large) to create the circles and I was really happy with how it turned out........
mind you I played around with the layout for ages......... lol

You will NOT be disappointed with what the DT have created....stunning!

To Know Life......

Is to love many things....

Just opened my C S and  Papercraft Magazine and WOO HOO my card was published in there!!
as well as my friends and fellow DT'ers from Scrapbook Boutique

I am extremely proud of my steady hand with the pearls......even if I do say so myself....lol
Tim Holtz Distress Inks are my NEW FAV thing to collect   (nearly have all the MFT anyway)
I just LOVE white embossing powder and this technique is so easy and looks great.
