21!

Oh my goodness! I have a 21 year old!!! That is not possible.... I'm way tooooooo young to have a child of that age! lol
My Husband and are are rather chuffed that we have raised a child, relatively unscathed, to adulthood!
One down, three to go......

Scrapbook Boutique has the info on how to make this LO.

A busy weekend...

Such a busy weekend in my house! Lots of sport, a 21st and a 40th! and of course my footy team, Melbourne LOST AGAIN......... it is not looking good for us again this season :(
Anyway, I made a card for my friend celebrating her 40th and I used Annabelles Background Challenge as my inspiration.

I embossed 5 strips with a variety of embossing folders and I really like how it turned out!
I have used the PTI numbers quite a lot and they have been a fabulous investment! As well as the sizzix numbers I have also........lol

Here is my take on the challenge.....

My daughter Christie has perfected the take your own photo of yourself..... We were both mucking around and taking heaps of photos........ If you know me, you'll know I NEVER take a good photo!!  I am very critical and have a LOT of rules before the snap is even taken....
1. I always have to stand behind someone, so I look skinnier..
2. Always get the photographer to be higher than me, so I look skinnier....
3. Say "B*tch" in my head (or out loud) as it gives you a nice smile ( a real photographer told me that!)
4. Photoshop the hell out of it! so I look skinnier lol
I have more, but I don't want to give away all my secrets.  I have even used family photos, where everyone looks terrible, blinking and blurred, but if its a good one of me....I AM USING IT!

Anyway, I didn't like this photo at first, but it has grown on me now. It's nice and casual which I really like as a lot of my photos with the kids are staged lately for someone's birthday.
Next on the hop is Linda's Blog

Enjoy! xxx
