Every year when my MIL makes her delicious Christmas puddings, it was a tradition for all the grandkiddies to come around and have a stir (with their hands or a spoon) of the pudding mixture.  One year my father in law, on eating the pudding Christmas day, pulled out of his mouth, an old band aid! It was very very funny and after that we did check their hands BEFORE the got down and dirty.  This is little Patrick having his "stir" when he was three months old (don't think he was too impressed!).  A lovely tradition, and when I start cooking puddings (lol) I will do that too!
A few cards for my stash.  Happy to be using my IMMENSE pp collection!!!!

Aren't you lucky!

two posts in two days!  Well the Paddy boy is fine and milked it for all it was worth and he miraculously recovered to play basketball this afternoon! Anyway it could have been a lot worse so I am happy that he is ok.
I didn't go to basketball last night so I had a few precious hours to myself! I love these pics of the boys (taken years ago!) and they work really well with the SassLass Monstrosity pp. And I did a quicky card with the extras. Bad pic (sorry!!)

For the last couple of years I have been getting the Kikki K calandars and I really like to decorate the months!  Christie loved it too and wanted one for herself this year.  Christie told me that hers would look so much better than mine........(BRING IT ON!) and you KNOW how I love a competition....... anyway she admitted defeat and I had to do her February one (only because she is lazy and couldn't be bothered!)
anyway here is my Feb one.

Better go and do something..........
see ya :)

Apologies! now the worst is over....

for the moment! things at the pool are running nicely! But with all the extra hours there is hardly any down time!  I have started to clean the spare room AKA the room everyone shoves stuff they don't want in their room and cannot find a home for ROOM! I have 3 big green bags ready for the salvos and even more for the tip and 2 bags of things I cannot bear to throw out.  I had planned yesterday to really get stuck in to it and make a huge dent as I had 3 hours uninterrupted time. Then I got a phone call from the boy's school saying that one of the kids (couldn't make out who they were talking about!) had hurt themselves on a trampoline! At first I was confused as I couldn't place where they had tramps at school! anyway after I asked which son she was talking about she said Patrick was being treated by ambulance officers.  I thought what a klutz he is and then she said the ambos decided they would be taking him to Frankston hospital and would I come straight away.  Af first I thought he has such a low pain threshold and there would be nothing wrong with him and schools always over react!  Those who know me know that I am the most pathetic map reader and wouldn't know how to get ANYWHERE!  I was worried how the heck was I going to  find Frankston let alone the hospital! anyway with the TOMTOM I sort of got there eventually (90 minutes later and NO STUFF UPS)  I thought he would be sitting in the waiting room with a sling and ready to go home but this is what I was greeted with...
quite confronting!  I was speechless and started crying and so did he! The staff were just fantastic and quick to reassure me that he was responding positively to all the test and were sure there was nothing appeared to be broken but he was drugged up and they wanted to be sure there were no cracks in his neck or collarbone.  He had to have X-rays to be sure.  He was distraught, that his favourite NFL jersey had to be cut off but cheered up when I said I will buy a new one (from the US!) Anyway after what seemed like an eternity, he was given the all clear and we were allowed to leave. Just in time for the peak hour traffic!!! It took me two and a half hours to get home!  He will be stiff and sore for a little while, but at least he is in one piece!
3AS are having a card swap and here are mine. Finished and all ready to post!

Had lots of fun with the cuttlebug folders and the nestabilities.  Looking forward to seeing what I get back as it will be nice to have my stash looking a bit healthier.
A little sneak for a class at Scraphaven

Was really nice to start scrapping again! I have cleaned my room and am ready to roll!

Been busy....

chained to the computer and the phone but not for pleasant activities like surfing the net and reading blogs and fun stuff......no all work! Everytime I put the phone down, it rings again.  Good for me I suppose but gosh a lot of work!!!
On our last day at the van we took the kids for a little mini golf! Mark & I didn't play didn't want to show the kids up! lol It was packed so quite slow moving on some holes.

Mark & I decided to have a cuppa and we left them for a while (they were playing 18 holes!) well that is when the cheating started......def ALL from Mark's side of the family as I am honest as when playing games........
when we got home we did the measure and they had all grown (must have been the sea air)

Then on to Bendigo for the basketball tournament! Lots of fun, laughs and time spent with good friends and a little basketball thrown in.  The boys did well and Paddy was starting to regret ( a little) that he wasn't playing.
Lachlan's team started off well but needed to rely on other teams winning or losing to make finals and Aden's team lost all but one.  They played well and considering this was the first time they had played together as a team, they did well.

Yes, he is a little burnt!

Little Patrick started Year 7 and he was more than a little excited, worring about every detail that the others couldn't have cared less about!  Aden, being in year 12 had to start on the Friday as well.

We have to buy some more shirts, he has outgrown these ones!

Anyway I had the house to myself Monday and I certainly did a little happy dance!!! so nice & quiet!

I will be able to get back to it next week once things settle down and I can hardly wait.....

see ya :)
