Happy Birthday

Hi there!
Update on the renovations...... the sanding has begun and Oh My Goodness, my house is full of dust (even though there is a protective sheet as a barrier!) Hubby is planning on how I can best utilise the space. I am loving how he is getting right into the planning of it all ♥.
I had a massive clean out.... well I procrastinated a lot and after letting my crafty friends sift through, I took the rest to the op shop. They were so appreciative and said it was gold LOL apparently everyone loves crafty stuff!

Anyway today's card is using Concord & 9th background blocks set. I tried a few ways to stamp them in a row and it was becoming very frustrating. I ended up using my MISTI and stamping two rows and then turning the paper upside down! easy peasy. Scrapbook Boutique have the products used and details too! I have made a few using different colours (always good for the stash!)

lots of dots as you can see with the gorgeous inspiration pic. My craft room renovations are in full swing and with everything packed away, it is extremely hard to get to anything.....

Holy Moly June ALREADY! Renovations are in full swing and HOPEFULLY I will be able to get back in to my craft room soon. My storage room is painted and looks huge without all my stash in there!!! I will see if I can show a quick little video on the end of this post... ( warning I'm not too tech savvy so we will see how it goes!) I am going to have a massive cull too! The thing is I am so attached to all my goodies, that I hate parting with anything!

Happily Ever After

I think I am an imposter....I have actually made a wedding card that is not really due until October!!! I have joined in a few challenges ( this is so not me really) I have had these Mica flakes for a while and I thought they'd be perfect for this card. I wanted to create a window but I thought they would fly everywhere so I used an acetate sheet to make sure it stayed put! Scrapbook Boutique have all the details and products used for this project.

Muse #266

Hi there, joining in again with Muse #266 Tracey McNeely is the muse this week. I am so not getting any closer to getting my craft storage room painted!!! I have come to the conclusion, my hubby is right..... I have way too much stuff :) I'd rather be playing with my newly found stamps anyway.

I have to make a few baby cards so was inspired by the baby elephant sitting on the blue square box. I went with a lion peeking out of square. I made two, one for a girl and one for a boy. I am waiting on 3 babies to be born so I'll be a little prepared :)

Muse #265

Well again, I'm supposed to be cleaning my craft room for hubby to start renovations... and I keep finding things I'd forgot I'd had!!! a friend gave me a few dies as a birthday gift last year and I'm not sure who it's made by but I love it. I have joined in with Muse #265 and the cute card by Anita Bowden I was inspired by the CAS style she always has. I die cut with 3 different colours and adhered them together and found the sentiment from a Paper Smooches

Oh Happy Day Inspire.Create #107

Hi there, my hubby is finally getting a start on my craft room renovation (YAY) and while I was supposed to be cleaning it and packing things away, I had a play instead. This is the first challenge I have joined in with for a long time. I have joined in today with Inspire.Create.Challenges #017 I really like the simple sketch as it is CAS and I do love♥love CAS you know! I actually did a Jennifer McGuire and cut a stamp apart (eeek) I wanted to emboss the three words and stamp the Luxe circles over them. No big deal really they fit back together perfectly.
