Back again..... I just had a MASSIVE week and surprised myself that I was able to keep the PAD going!!
December 5th :- LOOKING UP
I really don't know what I was thinking when way back in March, I booked Lachlan in to have his wisdom teeth out!! I had thought it would've been the second last week of swimming (which wouldn't have been so busy) WRONG!!! as December 1st fell on a Saturday the second Saturday was this week..(we traditionally finish up the second Saturday!!) Thank goodness Aden was on hand to help and he played lolly/certificate/money man for the morning! Surgery went well and I have learnt that I suck big time in getting anywhere out of my home town.........
December 6th:- FROM WHERE YOU LIVE/YOUR COUNTRY
Good old Vegemite!!! Christie rang me rather early on in her USA trip and told me she was having Vegemite withdrawals! I considered sending over a care package as she left me details of the hotels she would be staying at. By the time I got around to actually doing it, she would've been in Hawaii and home soon. Non Aussies..... this stuff is addictive!
December 7th: STARS
I made this little Christmas countdown tree years ago (for you scrappers out there you will know the date by the BG range! lol) I loved it when I finished it and the kids loved changing the date every day and counting the sleeps until Santa came.......now I am the only one who changes it or cares how many days I have left to complete my MASSIVE TO DO list.
December 8th:- SOMEONE YOU LOVE
hmmm this prompt has me reeling....! Who to pick?!?!?!? Well.... as I love and adore ALL MY CHILDREN EQUALLY...... I decided to pick my dear old HUBBY! but that is a given really and I didn't really like the photo I took of him (he is usually very photogenic!)
Anyway..... I LOVE this little pooch! Molly is the most adorable little dog and my constant shadow! she follows me round ALL day long, shows genuine love and affection even if I glance in her direction! Everyone is the family adores her although Molly's favourites are Christie and Lachlan. (and I loved the arty photo...)

VEGETARIAN in TRAINING
On 1st January this year, Christie declared that she was now a vegetarian! Christie has tried this on me for a couple of years but I haven't let her go ahead with it. Now being 22, I don't really have much choice. It is really hard to make sure her diet is healthy most importantly and tasty with a bit of variety.
This day we went to a fair and there was the most delicious food everywhere and Christie was in a dilemma, being hungry and everything had meat. There was even a food van selling Wallaby and kangaroo Pies! YUK! Christie eventually found a
Pure Vegetarian food van and was happy!
Scrapbook Boutique have a tutorial on how this LO was created.

December photo a day
December is the busiest time of the year for me so I DON'T know WHY I would start the photo a day!!!
FatMumSlim is a site I LOVE and I have decided to play along with the prompts she has going! I have also enjoyed a Jessica Sprague class {MO}tography: Rock your camera phone. Awesome ideas and Apps to try that really jazz your photos. I noticed this too. I haven't read this article (just bookmarked it for later reference... when I have some spare time.....LOL)
I am not going to upload every day (no time) so I will upload every couple of days.
December 1st: 8 o'clock
Every year we have a get together with Mark's old friends from high school (and some from Primary school). Usually it is a BBQ at a local park, but this year we decided a night time restaurant would be fun. Everyone is spread out now, so we decided on a central to everyone restaurant. Thalia Thai in Lygon Street was delicious with heaps of dishes and it was such a fun night catching up with friends. So at 8 o'clock I was in a MAXI TAXI with my friends. Here is the kicker though......my meal only cost $20 lol!
December 2nd :- PEACE
My daughter, Christie and her boyfriend Tom returned from two months in America. The overwhelming feeling of relief when I saw her safely home is indescribable! I feel at peace now and I can get on with organising Christmas!
December 3rd:- SOMETHING YOU HELD
I resisted the urge to go with the cliché of a baby picture of one of my kids when they were younger and opted for the humorous approach..... I drag this baby to the clothes line EVERY SINGLE DAY!!! sometimes twice, three times... Having so many people in this family, there is always lots of washing!
DECEMBER 4th:- BLACK and WHITE
I am SO JEALOUS of how photogenic my daughter, Christie is!! I don't know if I am super critical of photos of myself or she has spent countless hours practicing a smile and camera face.....
Christie has not put Molly down since she came home! The poor dog is just about fed up I think!!

Deepest Sympathy
Not really a fan of these cards....for obvious reasons! I have, unfortunately, had to post a couple off a while ago :( I think elegance and simplicity are the way to approach these cards.
I just ADORE the MB Poppy Die, it is just gorgeous. I decided to make the poppy all back against the Websters Pages Jump Rope stamp and I think it is perfect and just enough.
go to Scrapbook Boutique for all the details on how to make this card.

Cardabilities Sketch # 63
Hello and welcome back for a new Cardabilities card Sketch #63
As usual, I love the sketch and as usual..... I have rotated the sketch to suit what I wanted to do....
That is why I love sketches!!
I just love this MB whimsy die. I have used it a couple of times and It would have to be up there as one of my go to dies at the moment.
A friend of mine lent me her Annabelle Stamps and I think I will have to buy this particular set,
Fanciful Flowers as I love every stamp.
