Here is MY take on the challenge......

I recently discovered Gelatos....LOL I am really enjoying this mixed media so STAY TUNED for my NEW FIX!!  I have armed myself with GESSO, gelatos and masks!!
Not really comfortable with messy, It took a while for me to get my head around it all!  I like ORGANIZED messy! Symmetrical, even and balanced is more my style.
Playing around with the gelatos is like going back to kindergarten!  Scribble to your heart's content and then spray with water or perfect pearls to create a kaleidoscope of  stunning patterns and colours.  I have a few LO's using this technique coming soon.
With my card today, I used a gloss cardstock (ooopsie I forgot to link it below) and embossed with white powder my HA background stamp, Hipster Circles( any patterned stamp will do.)
I then went crazy with colour using the gelatos and sprayed with perfect pearls. The embossed background resists some of the colour, allowing the pattern to show through.  I die cut the Memory Box Oak Tree and I really love the effect!
I hope you are enjoying the school holidays (if you're having them!)
Happy Crafting!

Thanks for popping in and now head on off to

Great effect Angela. I haven't taken the plunge into gelatos yet either have purchased some stencils and gesso that hasn't been played with should do that before the trend moves on!

Gelatos seem to be very popular at the moment, I only have two, so they have been getting a bit of a workout!:)

Wow - I'll have to add some gelatos to my wish list! I don't really like 'messy' either, but it would be worth it I think from the looks of what you created! Love it!
