Frosted Designs Card Sketch #15

Hello and Happy Tuesday!!! Frosted Designs have another gorgeous sketch for you today.

I loved my hummingbird and relished getting the copics out (finally) and have a good play!!!

I know I really need to practice more!!! I admire some work that I see out there on blog land & hope that I can be as good one day....

Speaking of copics......how utterly gorgeous is this little box my son, Aden, surprised me with the other week!!!!

He made it for me (awww)

I was complaining I had no idea what colours I had as I was storing them in a Tupperware container and I was envious of a few friends (Sue & Ange) who had

you beaut storage for their babies!!!

Anyway, it has a fabulous lift up perspex lid for travel and I just love love love it!!!

Case Study Challenge #82

I absolutely adore this week's Case Study muse Laura Bassens's card. Such a striking clean and simple card, it just popped out and inspired me straight away.

I used the SU Dreams du Jour butterfly...... I did try a few others (and I have MANY OTHERS...lol) but this one I like the best.

Annabelle's have the most delicious colour combo this week.... Yellow and white.... Nice.
I absolutely love my gloss card stock. (which I've had in the cupboard for years, unused...) since I've done the Jen McGuire online class I am addicted to the emboss resist technique. Really loving the Tim Holtz distress inks too.
I found this cute Fancy Pants 12x12 stamp set in my cupboard and thought it would be perfect to use for this challenge.

It's real to me NOW!!!

After watching Aden go off to uni every day last year and hearing his stories about getting his private pilots licence, it didn't seem real to me that he was actually learning to fly!  That is until I actually saw him take off and land at a local airfield.  I had goosebumps watching him and I was also very very proud!!
He was totally confident and in control and made me a little more relaxed knowing that he really does know what he is doing!!
Crikey!!! It is real to me now!

MOJO Monday 232

We had a long weekend over here in Australia and I thoroughly enjoyed the break!  I had planned on getting things done around the house and catching up on the craft........ but I spent the weekend watching my eldest boy play basketball in a tournament.  They ended up getting to the grand final only to lose by 13 :(

Anyway I did grab a few minutes here and there to may a few cards and I have decided to join in MOJO Monday's challange this week.

Frosted Designs Card Sketch #14
