OLSC #14 words words words

Woo Hoo It's a long week end over here and although I promised myself that I would catch up on housework........ but well..... that will always be there!
I checked out OLSC #14 at the start of the month and though "nah that will be too hard!" but I wracked my brains and my true love of inlaid die cuts came through!  Lol the inside looks like a dogs dinner but the front looks cute!! Quite fiddly with all the cuts but worth it!

thanks for popping in :)

Muse #107

Hi again,  I am going to join again with Muse #107 I really love Vicki Dutcher's card it turned out different to what I had in my head!!  I embossed a whole heap of different backgrounds and with my distress inks coloured with different colours.  I had the Paper Smooches "congratulations" die by itself, but It didn't really sit well with me, so I embossed another background and die cut the sentiment again and cut and covered to match.  Happier with this version.

thanks for popping in :)

Happy Birthday!

Hello again! Wow a couple of posts in a row....WOO HOO!  mojo has returned and I've cleaned the craft room ( it's like I've gone on a massive spending spree!) and I am finding lots of things!!! I really  love this MB Best Birthday Ever Die.  Love love love!  It can be used for so many things and the Block letter die comes out as individual letters so you can arrange them any way you want!! I would definitely recommend this die for the newbie starting out along with a "happy" from your stash, the possibilities are endless!!   I did a "Jennifer McGuire" and actually cut a stamp in half the other day as I only wanted half the sentiment and I was congratulating my OCD self!!
any way loving the inlaid technique (see here) thanks Therese  SO EASY and looks FABULOUS and easy for the POST OFFICE!
Head on over to SCRAPBOOK BOUTIQUE for details and instructions on how to reproduce this card!
