Happy Happy Happy

Hi there, I have been playing with my Distress Oxide Ink Pads again.  I have used them as just a plain old ink pad this time.  I love the new Lawn Fawn Happy Happy Happy stamp set and had a ball filling all the blank spaces.  I do love the softness of the Oxide Inks colours.  Scrapbook Boutique have them all as well as those gorgeous Lawn Fawn stamps and the matching die too.

Here is my take on the challenge.

Isn't the May mood board pretty.  I thought it was the right colour and theme for Mother's Day.  An what do you know, It is Mother's Day on Sunday!!!  I am loving that I am so organised!!!  My mum doesn't visit here, so It will be all good for the weekend.....now to buy a nice gift!

I had a play with the Distress Oxide and I wasn't disappointed!  I used my craft mat and watered down the oxide to create a nice wash.  I masked the first bloom and happy with the CAS feel but I thought it was too clean, hence the splashes to finish off.

Happy birthday shadow stamping

Hi There,
I thought I'd  give another technique a go.  Trouble is when I like something, I tend to OD on it!!  so needless to say, you'll be seeing more of this technique in the coming posts!   I think it works really well on a solid type of stamp so I revisited my Hero Arts large solid flower.  I also gave my new Altenew dye pads a go and I was impressed with their coverage and the way they stamped, so they get a huge tick from  me.  Scrapbook Boutique have all the details and products used for this card!
