Happy New Year!!!

Happy 2017 to you!!! And may the year ahead be all that you wish! Health, wealth and happiness to you and your families ♥

I hope we have a nice hot summer here as the last summer was pretty average!  I have a card today befitting the start of a new year and I hope there is not too many sore heads today......
I have masked the letters of the Lawn Fawn Quinn's alphabet so they are overlapping and filled them in with the gold wink of stella.  Scrapbook Boutique  will have all the details and products used for this card.

* trim neenah white card stock 10cm x 28cm and fold in half portrait.
*Stamp letters needed with on sticky post it notes and individually cut each one out.
*I stamp the middle letter out first so I get a good idea of middle and placement of my sentiment.
* place sticky not with corresponding letter to mask and then stamp new letter either side.
* Repeat until all sentiment is stamped.
*Colour in with gold wink of Stella.
*Stamp Altenew 'Celebrate' with black onxy and cut out leaving a little white border.
* adhere with foam dots just beneath sentiment.
*Randomly adhere sequins diagonally along card and pop some bling in centre of a few.

Angela ( that's me)

I've  gone a little CAS here as I didn't want the scribbles to get too messy as I was originally going with a sympathy card.  I revisited my LUXE stamps and I just ♥ LOVE♥LOVE♥ LOVE♥ them. If you are always finding you are not getting good coverage on your solid stamps, you need to try these pads!
I have gold embossed the second step flower scribble and I loved the effect, and even more so with a dash of clear Wink of Stella.

anyway off to Ann's beautiful blog and see her gorgeous take on this month's challenge.

thanks for popping in  ♥♥♥

Merry Christmas....!!!

Hello there!!  I went away for the week end (mini scrap retreat) and I got very busy!! Happy to sit and play with all the things I'd been collecting over the last few months.  It was such a buzz to finally just have some ME time to do as I please.
Anyway, I opened the Teresa CollinsTinsel & Company 12 x 12 paper pack and It was certainly my style!!!!  I love the soft and subtle colours and the silver and gold together CLASSY CLASSY CLASSY!! I made a few LO (be patient)  and some cards too.

Must admit the silver has made the Avery Elle  stamp, very hard to photograph, but it isn't so light IRL.  Head on over to Scrapbook Boutique for all products and instructions on how to re create this card.
