Here is MY take on the challenge......

I recently discovered Gelatos....LOL I am really enjoying this mixed media so STAY TUNED for my NEW FIX!!  I have armed myself with GESSO, gelatos and masks!!
Not really comfortable with messy, It took a while for me to get my head around it all!  I like ORGANIZED messy! Symmetrical, even and balanced is more my style.
Playing around with the gelatos is like going back to kindergarten!  Scribble to your heart's content and then spray with water or perfect pearls to create a kaleidoscope of  stunning patterns and colours.  I have a few LO's using this technique coming soon.
With my card today, I used a gloss cardstock (ooopsie I forgot to link it below) and embossed with white powder my HA background stamp, Hipster Circles( any patterned stamp will do.)
I then went crazy with colour using the gelatos and sprayed with perfect pearls. The embossed background resists some of the colour, allowing the pattern to show through.  I die cut the Memory Box Oak Tree and I really love the effect!
I hope you are enjoying the school holidays (if you're having them!)
Happy Crafting!

Thanks for popping in and now head on off to

Happy Birthday Let's Celebrate

Hello! I really like the OLC (one layer card) Quick and easy ( well for most people..... I do agonize over EVERY detail lol) Well my new favourite stamps (this month anyway) are shapes.Triangles and circles are popular at the moment and I am loving them being used repetitively, makes for some really fabulous patterns. I have made a heap using MFT Trendy Triangles and mixed with the HA Neon (♥)
Scrapbook Boutique have all the products used for this card along with the instructions too.  I am going to join in with Dynamic Duos #96 Gumball Green and Your Choice ....What is that saying.... Blue and Green should never be seen?!? WHAT THE! I love this combination!

Patrick's Tattoo.....

Hello there!  Well I am happy getting back to Scrapping.... Yes it has been a while.  I am really trying to get my Thailand album in order and after much deliberation, I am going to follow a Project Life format.  I have way too many photos that I would like to include and I am not huge on lots of journaling. So I figure the smaller page protectors of PL will suit what I have in mind.  I have also already completed a few LO that will help with the flow (as well as use the 12 x12 protectors...lol)  AND I have been collecting SO MANY travel thingys that I NEED to use them all!!!
I really LOVE this LO and LOOK 3 PHOTOS!!!! so not me!!! I debated on the pinkish paper for this LO but it just seemed to work and tie in with the summery feel.  Patrick nagged for a tattoo and knew exactly what he wanted.  Lachlan and Patrick have been fascinated by Jamaica since the movie "COOL RUNNINGS" and they plan to travel there when they are older.
He wanted his back to burn so when the tattoo washed off he would still have the imprint.
Scrapbook Boutique have all the products used in this LO as well as details on how to as well.

thanks for popping in :)

Little Lachie Lou Lou

Our pet name for our 3rd child :)  I really used up nearly EVERY SHEET of the Jilibean Soup Chilled cucumber pack AND the LilyBee pack too on my last couple of projects!! Such gorgeous versatile colours!!!  You probably can't see from this terrible photo (must take another one!!!) but I have framed the photo in acetate, so it looks like it's floating..... I love this effect and use it a bit with my cards too!
We still call Lachlan ( he is 18) "Lou Lou" but not to his face LOL!!!!
You can see all the details and products used at Scrapbook Boutique
